"This is a technology worthy of support" was the US Army's chief laser scientist's evaluation of Stratus' counter-narcotics technology. Stratus CEO Morgan Perry developed a relationship with Lt. Gen. Neil Thurgood that lead to the presentation and Mr. Perry was able to arrange attendance of the head of a top 5 defense contractor's laser development group, following on the heels of signing an NDA with the defense contractor.
